    New Work Practice

This is a good start — the pieces have a bold, energetic flow that really captures the feeling of playful experimentation. The strong yellow vertical mark creates a striking divide, almost like two forces meeting or mirroring one another. The layered charcoal-like textures, are paired with the confident black strokes, give it a sense of movement and rhythm, (the choice of music was inspired by the rhythm of the art work) while the red and blue accents lift the page with moments of intensity and brightness.

It feels like I'm loosen up, after months of structured exhibition work, starting to trust the process, and rediscover creative freedom again.
